Is there any post repair cure time and do I have to wait to drive the car after the repair is completed?
Yes in most cases it is possible to remove scratches and to re-polish glass to a pristine finish. The ultimate finish depends upon the depth of the scratches (therefore how much glass surface needs to be removed).
Is it possible to remove scratches from glass?
No. It is true that windshield damage close to the edge is much more fragile but most often these can be successfully repaired with some extra care and advanced techniques.
I’ve read that it is not possible to repair a windscreen towards the edges, is this correct?
We take great care to deliver an aesthetically pleasing repair. However the repair quality will depend upon how long the damage has been exposed to the elements before repairing and how much surface glass loss there is.
